is there anyone that has beefed up the toyota sluggish automatic tranny?

There is an Austrailian company that makes improved valve bodies for them. I do not recall the name of the company, though. I think there are a few people on this board that have them and really like them. Also check out the yahoo 3FE list.

I have his Extreme Valve Body in the A440F and it is a major improvement over stock for feel, quickness and smoothness. He now has a body that has lock up in third as well as the standard OD lockup. Good stuff. Be sure to read the Ask Orto section for good humor along with good info.
