Since it sounds like the 40's run is postponed is anyone interested in a ride ?. Haven't even thought about where to go, tommyguns suggested wickes tunnel, am open to any suggestions. Not many nice weekends left so hate to waste 1. Spur of the moment is the best! Ron

Well, this is our plan as of 10:30 pm. Thinking about going up johnny's gulch and seeing where we end up in the elkhorns above radarsburg. Lots of mining roads, nothing to tough but it's neat country. Also we'll hopefully get into some of the bighorns and hopefully see some trophy bulls. Another option is going up duck creek on the east side of the lake and ending up in white sulphur. Going to more of an overlanding trip but should be fun. everything is subject to change. Leaving the gas station in manhattan at 9 am.

Pretty laid back trip, lots of fs trails and real nice country. We went up Johnnies gulch and wandered all around. only got as far north as crow creek rd. Had to pull over for a fwp pulling a bear trap, couldn't tell if it had a passenger or not, pretty remote country. You'll have to ask tommyguns about the girls on the flatbed. If you take the right trails you can end up in winston. If the guard is doing manuevers that can also add a degree of excitement. It's a nice area to just go cruising for a day or two. It was pretty warm and we didn't get to see any critters.

Can't believe it's friday again, how about a Sunday ride. One of sam's buddies is wanting to see some country, maybe tobacco roots?
