Found an interesting document called "1988 New Car Features." It is a Toyota technical document that covers the new features of their vehicle lineup for 1988. As I was looking it over, I was struck by a drawing of the Land Cruiser. Take a look at how high it sits on the suspension. Makes me realize just how much my original springs have sagged over the years!

Yeah, good point. I do have 31s on mine so that would make a difference all right.

Good Lord, can you imagine? 31's look small to me, especially since my 2.5-3" lift. 33's seem just right.

If you really want to be depressed, I have a copy of a 1988 model year brochure from Australia that shows all the great stuff we can't get or find hard to get on a 62. Diesels, 4 and 5 speeds, factory lockers , sliding rear windows, full float rear ends standard, bench seats (I am not a bucket fan) and the one I have always liked 2 doors on the back instead of the tailgate.
