Update for those of u following this thread & the upcoming build: U guys know that I'm a non-conformist and as evidenced by previous posts, chaos and crazy ideas rule any project that has my signature on it. With that being said, this is going to be a long, extremely detailed, one-off fabrications & a mad designer's porn build. Stan has no specific parameters, no limitations...only ideas for him to interpret and put his personalized, gifted touch to bring this dream to reality.

This project is currently on hold. As many already know, Shane had catastrophic damage to his house and property early in 2016 that he is still dealing with. The latest flooding in his area did not touch his home but devastated the homes of many in his family that are still working to get back into their homes. His truck sits high and dry and will be patiently waiting for the time when enough of life is back on track that a custom truck build actually matters.

"Knuckle up". . .that's been my SOP for the past 18 months. Took at 47K hit from the insurance companies, family tragedies, significant back injury, near reenactment of a scene from the movie Heat at 0730 3 miles from my house, and the deluge of karma paying me back seems endless at the moment. However, making ground and advancing toward the FJ60 launch day.

Frame swap will be on hold but engine, tranny, and brake/axle upgrade are finally moving forward. Chatting and emailing Stan, deciding between GM connect & cruiser or custom build, bonus due in November/December, then the work begins.

Haven't stopped amassing parts. . .it's a disease.

Trying to secure a front & rear door to finalize the door cards/hardware.

Almost sold the 60 & parts collection - just wanted one project done, finished. Tested a 2017 Raptor for a weekend. Beautiful but not the same and didn't give me that feel that's so characteristic of the 60 series. So, decided to sell my truck, suv and finish the 60. Period.

Work/personal life is still uncontrolled chaos. . .
