So the truck has about 264,000 miles on it. Engine has 33,000. It was replaced by the original owner back in 2001. It was a SOR motor which came from Japan.
It needs some work but I drive it daily. Life is leading in a new direction so we have to part ways.
- Bit of a squeak at idle
- Engine has a quality exhaust leak
- No AC but just needs some new lines, compressor is fine.
- Engine runs a little hot cause radiator cap needs to be replaced.
- Master cylinder can be a little leaky and the carpet inside is a bit soaked as a result.
Registration is just about due and it needs a smog check.
I have done a little work on it:
- It has HID lights
- Upgraded battery
- Gas hood struts
- Rear gate struts
- New trailer wiring
- Refurbished dash trim just not installed.
If you are at all interested please get in touch with me. There a lot of really good parts on this truck and I imagine you could make more off parts if needed. Would be sad to see but so is life.
