1987 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ60. Low mileage 2f 6cyl, New Toyota H55 5spd transmission, rebuilt transfer case, 4.11 gears, 4” OME heavy/heavy lift, 33 x 12.50 pro comp mudders, ARB compressor and rear locker, roof rack, ipor front seats, LED interior lights, tuffy console box, custom front bumper and hella driving lights. Every thing works. I'm the 3rd owner. I have receipts for most of the upgrades. Most of the work was done by me. The axels were rebuilt, re-geared and the ARB installed by Over the Hill 4x4 (a Land Cruiser Shop) in Portland Or.

Good looking 60 - quick question - you call out an 87 but the mftr plate shows September 86?

Usually anything built after June in a calendar year is considered next years model... So if it was built prior to June 1986 then it would be an '86.. after June it's an '87.. Thats my experience with most vehicles...

That's been my experience as well. It was and is registered as a 1987.

Is the smog equipment in place?

The smog equipment is in place, but disconnected. The pump was removed and a pulley from TLC performance was installed. I was trying to squeeze all the hp and mpg out of the 2f. I really didn't notice a difference. I still have the pump and it will go with the rig. I also have the FSM for the emissions and motor that will go with it as well. I'll try and post some pics of under the hood.

Sept is the first month indicating the next year on almost all toyotas. 9 of that year is the next year.

Toyota is not that ridgid with their Model year changes. I am not sure of the exact date of change over for the 1987 year, but the one thing that confirms it is the thin striping (lighter color) on the door panel fabric. The 87 MY got the fj62 cloth, center console and rear cargo doors for washer and such. This is an 87 MY rig for confirmation.

No wheels, these alloys were on it when I bought it. I think I scraped the bumper.

It is still for sale. About 120K on the motor and 10K on the tranny and t-case.
