Any interest in messing around with a 85927-60010, big carb fan controller off 76-77 California spec 40s? This one is off my truck that I could never get to work. I miraculously found a replacement so this has been sitting in my parts bin.

So, it's a timer, not the temp sensor that shuts it off?

It will cycle the fan on/off with temperature. The timer will prevent it from running 20 min or so after shutting off the engine.

So, 85deg C or 20 min, whichever comes first after the ignition is shut of... got it.

I have boxes and boxes of controllers, all kinds. No one ever calls ME for them. Seems like a logical thing to move them down the road to someone who can test/repair them. Give me a jingle at the shop and let’s see if we can make a deal.😉
