I have an 85 FJ60 and when you turn on the A/C the idle jumps up to 2500 RPM's? There is supposed to be a way to adjust the vacuum to lower it by turning a valve in the engine bay on the drivers but it seems to have no effect. Looking for suggestions.

There's an adjustment screw for the vacuum actuator for AC idle up on the carburetor. It's easy to reach and adjust from the left side.
