It's a three piece system... Does he need all of it?
There is a shifter with a pivot eye (side to side), a bracket that bolts to the side of the tranny (front to back), and a small arm and pivot that attaches to the first price and translates side to side into a bracket on the t case to switch low/high.

The right hand threads and the left hand threads
