Was red ever offered on the 83s? My dash is red or painted red. I’m guessing a previous owner painted it.

At first I was going to say No, but the 83 I just bought has a black and grey interior. Definitely factory. First I'd ever seen. But it has matching door panels and seats. What color are yours?

Looks like the dash pad was re-upholstered in red leather and the metal areas were painted.
I've only seen black, biege and blue. Im no expert though.

The seats have been recovered red and black. I just want to return it to stock if red isn’t stock I’ll go back to black. From what it seems a red dash is not factory
