Does anyone have the Toyota part # for the rear engine/ gearbox motor mount for my 83 BJ42? It is V shaped. It mounts right behind the bellhousing where the trans meets.

I will have to make sweeping assumptions as you did not mention where you got this truck from.
I see you are now in NC, so North Caledonia, but they seem not have that listing in the huge book of Toyota parts.
Now if it was to be a Canadian market BJ42 then that part number would be 12371-58010

The BJ42 came from Austrailia, would part number be the same since same engine?

There is a parts guy in AUS who says he has one but he is giving me a part number of 12371-61020? But he says it fits all FJ/BJ40's with f engines and 3B's?
The listed mount for ARL (Australia) is 12371-58010
His number shows as the FJ4# part.
Might still fit but it is the wrong part number.

Thank you brother, some one else awhile ago gave the same part number as you so that is what I will go for.
when looking at part numbers,
xxxxx-60xxx or 61xxx are normally gas or general application to land cruiser.
xxxxx-58xxx are B series engine
xxxxx-68xxx are h series engine
xxxxx-17xxx are hz series engine
xxxxx-35xxx are mini truck etc
(aside note, xxxxx-92xxx were 45 wagon part numbers)
so dave stedman is correct, the -58010 is the correct mount.
With the rear motor mount (tranny 'belly') the heights differ between gas and B series diesel applications. The early belly mount is a wide "U" shape while later (1985 and later) are flat. I believe you can use a gasser mount on a B without much of a problem, just make sure it is the early mount.

The one he has listed looks just like what I have which is the cradle type that looks like a shallow V shape. You say it should work? He is saying that number is no good anymore?
