83/86 2F into 76 FJ40...Any Special Considerations? (1 Viewer)

Hey all, going to pick up either an 83 or 86 2F (my choice: i.e., whichever runs better). Any special considerations for putting it into my '76 FJ40? Doing a conversion from a Buick V6. Still has original clutch and tranny.

I think the 86 has the more compression head on it ! same as the 3F heads . just have to check the casting number just in case someone swapped parts at one point !
but I'll pick the one that runs better I guess !
