I hit the inside with 2 gallons of Lizard Skin ceramic. stuff works great.
Then started slamming interior back in. P.O. kept the interior super clean- and the cloth seats are in cherry shape😁

Gave the seats a 2” lift kit.

I picked up some USC ag47 mud and started muddin on the roof . This stuff is so next level compared to Bondo. I am no bodyman by any means - but compared to bondo i feel like a pro. it sands and shapes super easy and goes on like butter comparitively.

How many man hours do you think you have in it up to this point?

I deleted the rear heater under the passenger seat. and then threw lizard akin ceramic from 2cnd row footwell all the way forwards up firewall. surprising noise reduction as well which is nice. takes that tin can ness away big time.

tough to tell- i started wanting to simply do the roof- quickly in 2-3days—but tons of ahipping delays later- and now its morphed into coating the full interior and im gonna thinsulate the roof inside before headlining- lifted seats- rear heater delete. etc. slippery slope effect.

i also decided to spend a bit more time making the roof a notch nicer than simply bedlining to seal it up. So once i ordered the oem 4k1 color match- and got put into shipping delays with covid- i have had time to kill on the small things.

Looks like a hitop 60 series. I like.

I picked up 4 yards of 3M Thinsulate sm600L insulation which is their 200gram / 1 1/2" thick thats got a batting on one side, Its apparently good for R5 and also adds a fair bit of sound deadwning which is nice.

today i knocked out the platform frame and spent waaay too much time making it pinned / and adjustable height via welding in some threaded nuts n bolts. all the mounting points are using the existing seat mount holes in the second row and 3row on the humps. a total of 4x12mm bolts and 4 pins and the whole thing will come apart and out if needed.

finally the carpet came. I added 1/2” of closed cell foam under and then cut and mounted the two panels with the new covering. two pieces allow the fit to be nice n snug to sides and yet still be fully removeable if i needed to haul something real big

platfoem height to rooftop inside is close to 34” or so......and i can still sit fully upright and im 6’3. while under platfoem capacity is close to 11.25” tall/ fits a milk crate height in rear and up front where the floor slants down i can get my fibreglass propane tank/6 gallon water bladders/ 4+ nato jerry gas cans and tons of other stuff.

Did you cram some of the thinsulate under the shifter/transfer console area? Is that what I am seeing? Very cool out of the ordinary build.
