Oh Bilt4me, it just kind of occurred to me that maybe you thought this was an exhaust merge collector? In that case you would want a much larger diameter tube on the outside of the merge.
But with this being a turbo collector you want some neck down for exhaust speed as that is what spins the turbine. So in this example, I have (6) exhaust runners that are 1.9" OD, and 1.682" ID, necking down to 2.75" for the turbo hot side and then the turbo housing then necks back up to 4" for the connection to the downpipe.

Are there any concerns about the cross-sectional area of the (6) pipes coming in VS the (1) going out? Should the OUT be more than the IN? Or is there a back-pressure calculation I don't know about?
