I may be in the market for an 80 series. Are there better years than others? I've heard that center locking diff changed at some point?? How can I tell if a model has the center locking diff?
    Thanks in advance.

This has been pretty well documented throughout this list -- do a "Search" above --

-- center diff locking was standard on all 80s, and FR and RR became an option in 93-97 -- you can tell this exists by a round knob to the left of the steering column that says "diff lock" on it --
