80 Series Repair Shop in Santa Fe/Taos Region (1 Viewer)

Hey Everyone,

Friend of a friend in Taos was wondering where he could bring his 80 series for various repair work. Sounds like the truck is in typical shape for something 25ish years old, axles, cooling system, seats, that kind of stuff. He's not a DIYer, so he just wants to bring it to a shop to have the work done.

Does anyone have recommendations for that neck of the woods?

I used Michael Potter, owner of Aztec Motors in Santa Fe to work on my 80 several times. Buddy uses him for his 40. Michael owns an 80 and knows his business. Really nice and honest mechanic.

Toy Auto Man is good too, I've had him do basic maintenance a few times. Topped off my tranny when I accidentally drained that instead of motor oil and got a stripped drain plug out of my front diff too. Carlos and his crew are good people.
