Wanted 80 Series [Pacific Northwest]

I'm interested in buying an 80 Series (1991-1997) somewhere in the Pacific Northwest - i.e., within 6-8 hrs of Seattle, WA. Ideally, it would have ~150,000 miles on it (or less), be close to stock in terms of mods, and include good paper trail of maintenance.

I can spend up to about $9000. I will be selling my 2000 4Runner (V6, manual transmission), if this is of interest to anyone.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Really? I guess no one on this forum wants to part with their 80.

I may, but mine doesn't meet your criteria. Mods, 216K, light trail body damage. Less than 9K though.

Thanks for the message, but I don't think yours will work. This will eventually be my dd, but for the next year it'll be my fiancee's. And she's used to a much cleaner car than me.
 
Can sell mine for $4200. Has ~160K on the odo, '94 with factory lockers. Got a bit of body damage, but sourcing parts and would be fixed before sale. Only prob is I'm in San Diego. Otherwise meets your specs.

I shopped for an Fj/Fzj-80 for a long time in the NW... the mileage and maintenance records will be your sticking point at this price. 99.9% of the Cruisers at dealer lots will be auction specials with zero maintenance history and questionable pasts. Most private party rigs will be over 200k miles, need some work, or also have questionable pasts.

Nice, lower mile 80's are out there but will take a lot of searching to find and will sell very fast once they are listed.

Hey Fossil I just posted my J80. It has been our 3rd family car since 05 and purchased from the original owner a lady in San Jose. Total cream puff of a truck 147,000 miles lots of proper LC care regarding the classic stuff like Valve cover gasket - inner front axle seals - pesky water hose etc etc all done. 100% working zero leaks simply a great truck. All new brake lines and ABS sensors and harness last summer at Walnut Creek Toyota.

Asking $7000 - Nothing to hide simply put its a super clean well cared for truck ready to go with lots of proper records etc.
 
Yes its legit - and I'm sad to be selling it - damn family needed a bigger truck otherwise I'd keep the thing for another 20yrs LOL
 
1997 LC

Just put ours up for sale last night, we are in the Seattle area.

It's a '97 with lockers, green on tan. Does have 181k miles on it but everything is stock except the radio (we do have the original... it now has Nav with Bluetooth) and we added seat heaters.

$8995 OBO
