Hi guys, I recently got a flat battery in my 80 srries and ever since then my sub tank will not activate and my main fuel tank gage won't work.
Just wanting to know if there's an easy fix to this (fuse) or if its a big problem and if it can be easily fixed

Not entirely sure on the year, just recently purchased it and it didn't come with much papers or info on it

The 10th character of the VIN number will be a letter. It tells you what year your truck is.

Welcome to MUD by the way. I see this is your first post.

There are 3 fuel injection fuses. I'd check these first.

#3 fuse in the fuse box under the hood
#4 fuse in the passenger compartment
#12 fuse in the passenger compartment

There is also a fuel pump relay.

I'm told my 96 has a fuel pump relay somewhere but I can't find it. Wondering if anyone has a pic of the location?

Cant find the the fuel fuse relay box or the abs, nothing sticks out to find

Just checking since you're in Oz - is this a diesel or a petrol powered rig?

Would be really helpful if you could give us the build date and model. Both should be on the firewall plate on the passenger side (Right hand drive)

So its a 92 model, 5 speed diesel, checked the fuses under the steering wheel and the bonnet and no blown fuses

Righto. So, just making sure I've understood properly:

Main fuel gauge isn't working? But truck will run from main fuel tank fine.

Is the subtank gauge working? Truck will not run from subtank?

Correct with the main tank but the sub tanks gage is fine just not activating when ever I push the button for it, the light says its on but not actually on
