80 series FF rear axle in LX470 (1 Viewer)

Has anyone here put an 80 series FF rear axle into a 100 series? I know the 100 rear axle is wider, and the links are at slightly different angles & use smaller bolts. I am more curious if anyone has done it, and if so, did they modify the axle, or frame side mounts to make it all work?

Different lug pattern too, to add to your list of differences.

I have seen people use the 80 rear axle when they swap in an 80 front axle also, to keep everything matching....

Yes thats exactly whats going on. Just wanted to keep this thread's focus on the rear axle.

Doing so as a complete body off and stripped frame resto. Will be blasted, modified where need be, and painted as new.

If you're SASing the front I wouldn't think you're gonna have much trouble with the rear

I am doing a 80 axle in the front as well. I was just curious if and how others may have done this swap is all. Sorta like why reinvent the wheel if an easier solution has already been found and done.
