80 series, 1993, is making squealing/grinding noises intermittently. Grabs right front when it happens. Any ideas an axel differential shop that knows 80's?

A little more detail will help someone direct you to a suitable shop.

They'll tell you you need birfields and drive flanges.

Difficult to diagnose because of its intermittently occurances. It is happening on the rights front side. After the hub was removed and reinstalled it is better but still happening.

If you have grinding, which is either some metal rubbing against other metal, or if it's more of a growling it's bearings, either will leave tell tale signs. Have you pulled wheel, caliper, disk, check for rubbing, bearing scoring, etc...?

Everything checks out. Only thing left is the birfield, looking into that. Thanks for suggestions

Thanks, looking into birfield now

Check the caliper bolts. I had one come out while driving once and it made a horrible grinding noise as the caliper was pivoting on the remaining bolt.
