interested, how much lift on an 80 are those links designed for?

The links are extended 2.5 inches, so any lift in that range it would help. I used them on my 100 series which i lifted with 860's in the back, 2.5 inches. Everything fit great.

So you still have the rear extended links?

Still have the end links? I have a 98 w/ about 2.5" inch lift in the back. What do these actually do? I don't know too much about suspension components with regard to these

They lower the sway bar back to stock geometry. Some people have said it improves handling, others have said it's stopped the shock from rubbing on their sway bars. I don't really have anything to compare them to because I did my lift and refurbished all bushings on my sway bars and added these extended links at the same time. But it just made sense to me to bring the geometry back closer to stock. My truck rides great, but I can't say if these are why.
