Greetings all,

Years ago a photo was posted of what looks like an adapter (male pins) that would plug into the instrument barrel connector. Does anyone know who makes it or has a source for one?

I’ve emailed him on his website. Thanks

What are you up to now Jeff?

Hey Mark!
Messing around with some gauges and leaving the wiring loom intact.

Have you seen anything like this?

LOL

I'm considering installing a Dakota Digital Instrument panel (I know, I know).
I wanted to find a way to piggyback a socket on the barrel cluster to tap into the circuits (oil, water, fuel senders, turn signals, 12v ignition, ground, ETC) instead of cutting into the wiring harness.

I'm looking for a way to keep it simple, clean, and not molest the harness.

I have the same puzzle to solve now too. How did this work out for you?

Cheers,
Mo

I used electrical wiring 12v pins that fit into the factory barrel connector, similar to pins on the instrument panel. They were a tight fit and then I taped the cluster to keep it from vibrating loose. Seems to be working! A better solution would be a 3D printed adapter/connector that would be plug and play!
