I took the box, lines, and pump off of a running 1979 FJ40. It all worked great. The return/ cooler lines have been coated with a stainless steel coating (steelit). The return fitting is included also but not pictured. I’m happy to answer any questions if you have e them. Thanks $2500 plus shipping

Wow!

Why did you remove it and want to sell?

What mods would have to be done to put it on a '75?

The 40 I took it off of went with a 4” lift and 35’s. The owner wanted a heavy duty Saginaw conversion done. So I did that, and kept these parts. I’ve had them and another set for a couple of years now and it’s just time to let some things go to good homes.
The biggest hurdle to put OEM PS in your 75 is that 79 and newer 2f’s have holes in the block to mount the pump. I think the rest of the stuff wouldn’t be too tough. But others that know more than I do about interchangeable parts feel free to chime in.

Probably have to drill some holes in the front frame member to clamp the cooling line but nothing like dealing with the lack of threaded holes in the block. Also the pump mounting bracket uses the smog/air pump bracket. If the cruiser has the smog removed need to deal with that. Steering column is the same so it will bolt right in. The steering box should.bolr on your current pedestal on the frame.

I have a 1979 2f engine on a crate with the power steering pump mount holes on it. If anyone is interested. $500.00 running condition unknown. $400.00 if you purchase Ande's power steering pump above. Bell housing is still attached and included

Here is the air pump and bracket that I will include with the PS system. Let me know if ya have any questions. Or if you want to make an offer. Thanks
It’s on eBay too.
