How about a truly NOS F engine exhaust manifold?

I even have the original box it was shipped from Toyota.

It came with the heat riser valve. Note, it was factory-welded to the shaft.

Fortunately, I had acquired the other heat riser components a long time ago..

Did anyone realize the hot and cold positions of the heat riser valve were stamped into the stop for the counterweight?

Check to see that the flapper on the exhaust is working properly. Rather than just relying that the thermal coil is opening it properly, try tying it open with a piece of bailing wire to see if that helps.

Of course I would have tried this before buying a new exhaust system.

I found this while looking for what my issue is..
I replaced my manifold that had the flapper, exhaust leak out the sides where shaft is..

Replaced with manifold that does not have the flap.
Any issues doing this?
Looks like it screwed up my timing for one.

Any other issues I should know about?
