Asking for assistance in identifying which of these two carburetors is the one that goes to my rig. Is one better than the other, And why?

I’ve done my search, but haven’t found the information. Thank you in advance.

04/1979

Both as TEQ AISIN Japan carburetors:
#21100-6130
#21100-6105

Good on you for getting the pictures up that we talked about. @Pin_Head is correct on the dates. Now as for which one to rebuild, if you’re running desmogged, the best thing would be for you to send me both carburetors and have me build one from the two.

I’m not a fan of the’79s and have said so many times. But there are a couple of pieces that I could use off one to make the’75 better. I think I did one like that for @3_puppies not so long ago.

correct, Mark, you built my a quazi combo of 2 carbs, I was thinking it was the 1979/80 and a later 60 series carb. It was several years ago and I could be all messed up on exactly what you made for me.
no issues and still running good even after sitting a while.

Awesome. I’ll send both of them to you Mark.

Thank you
😎. Please wait until after Thanksgiving to ship. I’m going camping soon, and I’ve already got a lot of irons in the fire when I return from that. Just edited my signature line to reflect that. Thanks.
