Update on price $12,000 12/19/21
In process of moving and not enough time or space and need to let it go.
I have added new OME springs, 4x4 labs power steering mounting kit. Price is firm.

78 in process of a 5.3 gen 3/4L60E swap. Just running out of time and space..
FJ bought last year with plans for retirement in a few years. Threw rod after about 50 miles.
The FJ:
no roof
no doors
body is decent. Rear sill needs replaced. Quarters not bad. Bed floor has some rust as well.
nice patina on rest of body
floorboards great shape
new corbeau seats

engine
came out of 2005 suburban (wrecked) 190,000 miles. Had to turn crank 10/10, alignment was good. Have matching ECM and harness (have depinned wiring). ECM not programmed yet. Fuse block for new harness. Bought a TBSS manifold and shaved with DBW throttle body (have original manifold, TB damaged) one coil broke.
New pistons/rod bushings, cylinders honed standard rings.
new oil pump, new BTR cam 206/212, cam brgs, heads rebuilt, new Camaro oil pan for clearance,

Transmission
bought from a muddper with the AA adapter. He bought from California no real history planned on going through before install. I did buy the vss reluctor ring from AA.

AA engine mounts

I know this post is old but I’m still going to ask. Is this FJ40 still available? If so do you have any more pictures of it? What do you know about it’s history? How bad is the rust in the back and the below the doors? Are there any more places where the rust is bad? Anything else you can think of or areas needing work/replaced? Thank you
