78 40 for sale

Not mine!!! But I saw a 78 for sale along route 80 near Mt. Airy in Maryland. Rig looks SHARP, looks to be all original paper in window says 3800 original miles. I snapped a few pics I'll try to post up a little later, I would guess that it may have 103800 miles myself, but anything is possible. Body wise this rig looks to be in mint shape, mechanically ahh so so. It had a bikini top on it, didn't see a hard top anywhere. I didnt talk to the owner.



Its Monday and Friday all in one day!!!!!!!!!!!

Considering the Tejas emblem on the bumper, the owner is saying 24,000 pesos, which comes to about $1800. Good deal!

I didn't think the ebrake was on the dash in a 1978?

It's also a respray... firewall is white.

It's an overspray. Maybe the extra paint makes it worth more. It's a nice looking truck but at least 15k too much.

Where's the alt? is it on the driver's side?

Yeah Stump, the alt is located on the lower drivers side, and it has definitely been sprayed, underneath also. HFS suspension under it, the rear sill and quarters looked perfect, by there is a huge spot under both floorboards that are completely rotted out, coated right over. They aren't all the way through, but a major cover up none the less. As much effort that was put into everything goes to s*** as soon as the hood is lifted.
