I have a Weber carb on my 2F with a factory wiring harness. Per photo, can the wire be plugged in directly to the carb solenoid or does it need a resistor?

It's an electronic choke so 12V should be fine.

Check that the wire has 12V only when the ignition is on and stays 12V as long as the ignition is on.

No need for a resistor. been running ours for years just wired. Green connector to the electric chock tab in photo and you are good to go.[/QUOTE]
