Back to the beginning, I have good .pdfs of the Chassis and Body repair manuals from Toyota for the 75-83 year FJ40s. When I get home I'll try to figure out how to get it to you.

looks like a weeping brake line on the rear axle

I am beginning to think that I am blind. You are the second or third person in different threads I’ve posted for different problems that has seen something that I didn’t. When you point it out it’s obvious. Thanks.

Looking at the picture I posted of the muffler on my 76 looks like the brake line routing is the same. 4,500 miles I don't think the rear axle been touched including the brakes.

My 2/73 FST model is more of what you would expect to see.
