Hey guys, another quick question for you.

My 76 40 "with original birfs" has an 80 series power steering box with a very sketchy "chopped and welded" relay rod and I was wondering if there is any way to completely switch over to 80 rod ends? The only hiccup I see is the hole diameter and pitch on the hub steering arms as I assume they are smaller than the 80 style? I have been informed that Spector sells a spacer
094-23H-SPR
but I cant see how adding material to a small hole would make it any bigger lol.

Any ideas? The current plan is to build links with threaded tube adaptors so I could do a conglomeration of different joints and threads but that is the last resort.

Thanks again!

Joe

I used a set of 555 60 series tie rod ends and 70 series drag link and relay rod on mine a while back. Worked out pretty nice

What year is your truck and did you have to enlarge the steering arm holes or did it bolt together?
