Late 75, What the difference between 75 and 76, that’s my brother 55guy. He is helping when he can, I want this rig on the road, Iam going to sell my rock crawler this summer I just need a nice Toyota 4x4

Selling the rock crawler to build a Pig? Wow...

It has the large turn signals (not sure of those were for all of '75?), but I saw what look like the long-body ASCO lock-outs. Guessing the front has disc brakes? If so, maybe it is 9/75 or later? Registered as a '76?

You have a good eye, turn signals coming off, but I will leave the hole in fender for someone else, Just put a plug in it, Lots of parts have been changed on this, this 55 has been with a member of the PMC 4x4 club for years. Thanks again
 
Well this is what I did today took leaking steering box apart ordered new seal for it, And tie rods from Specter off road. Then ordered Center Arm rebuild kit and other parts from CruiserCorps. Started cleaning and painting

Update Pulled thansmission apart from tcase and saw this, Ok rebuild time new shaft and rebuild kit from Georg at Cruiser Brothers in Stockton, Georg was a great help in helping me with this. This is all low budget work but getting there, Just pics, Now put back together. I just cut rear shaft off so I could get puller on, Bad shaft cant reuse .

Ok so I have a question this engine was bought used maybe 80.000 miles I just want to get this engine started and here run before I go on with build, So is this distributor a stock set up no points and will it run without the ignitor and just a coil for now . I have a new distributor for this engine but want to hear it run first Iam not really familiar with 2f Toyota . Always had a Chevy engine , Thanks everyone
