I was having a no start issue with my FJ. Diagnosed the ignitor to be bad. Did an Electronic Ignition Conversion from Hot-Spark. Now it has a misfire on cylinders 3 and 4. New cap, rotor, plugs, and wires. Used my timing light to determine there was no spark going through #3 and #4 wires. Any ideas appreciated! Super stumped right now!:deadhorse:

Does the rotor on the dizzy have any play? What the tolerance between the pickup and the reluctor?

Agreed, excessive play in the distributor shaft can cause odd miss-fires. Grab the distributor shaft and see if you have side to side play. If you do, it's time for a new distributor.
