Just installed a new windshield with a new seal and "key".

What a bear of a job.

Now that I got everything seated do I need to glue anything or is the "key" enough to hold everything?

If there is glue I sure hope it didn't need to go in ahead of time as I can't imagine how that would work.

To be clear, I simply mean windshield adhesive for the glass which seems to be normal across the industry but I've never seen it mentioned for the key locked seals. I do seem to recall reading somewhere that it wasn't needed but wanted to confirm.
Thanks!

No adhesive necessary.

It will tighten up against the glass esp. once you get it into some solar heat.

Also meant to say nice job, looks good.

I agree with middlecalf. Especially if you used any lube to get it in, that will hold in the channel a little while. Side note, I use windex because it evaporates relatively quickly.
