Hi all, I have a 74 that I just achired that the PO had wrapped in aluminum....... ughhhhhh. He actually did a great job but of course that only accelerated the rot process..... unfortunately for me there’s is only a pile of rust flakes and great stuff left of the original body... what I trying to see is the upper lip of the quarter panels where the hardtop rests on. During my search it looks as if some fj’s Are flat panels with a 90 degree bend that the top sits on. And in some pics it looks as though the lip is angular Like maybe 30 degrees or so. The pics are not clear enough to tell. I tried looking up replacement panels but they all look straight. If anyone has any insight that would be great! Maybe a measurement on the thickness of the lip or the angle would really help me... thanks again!
