I'm looking for a drivers side apron from a 1974 FJ40 that's doesn't need any work down to it other than sanding and painting it. Surface rust is fine.
A 74 is a one year apron. It was the last year of the side marker for the blinkers and first year for the later style land cruiser emblem that goes on the apron. The earlier style emblem and later style emblem have different hole locations in the apron.
Attached is a picture of a 73 and below apron and a 74 apron.

The one that is painted is a 73 and below. Notice the holes in the apron where the landcruiser emblem mounts to the apron.

You could fill the holes and re drill them

That's a good point. But with me being the way I am it would bother me. That's for the advice.
