Just lay down my windshield for the first time since restoration and realized that the new OEM hooks I have (supposedly universal) don't reach back far enough to actually latch the windshield due to the base groove/slit not being long enough.
Obviously, I could sloppily Dremel the heck out of it to get it to fit but wasn't sure if there was either a more correct modification procedure or ( better yet) a better hook available for 74 and earlier.
