you all are very welcome..i will post up some photos in the next few days..my son and i are having a great time with this...keep the requests coming..the only parts we are keeping for our 72 is the weather stripping at the rear window..mirrors and the front floor mat and shift boot rings..the floor mats at the back seats is in very good shape as is the insulated barrier on the firewall..oh also keeping the glove box door...it works better than ours.

we are having a good time with the pig..got a power steering leak but i think i figured it out...what is your schedule for needing the springs?..i suppose once we get the other smaller items off and shipped we could work on the springs...do you want me to ship or do ya want to try that 10 hr drive...(1way). be happy to take care of it either way...you tell me what you want to pay..what is fair?..if i ship them you pay shipping.

going very slowly..everytime we get started something comes up...wedding yesterday and part of today...balance of today slave cylinder on our fj55...we will get it apart...be patient.

you guys know you should thank my wife...because if she would have let us my son and i would have added this pig to our collection for a restore....however seeing as we have a 40 currently in the garage (taking up her space) and a 55 that is waiting to go in next she said NO MORE!...if you want it for parts fine but you can not restore it......but it cool....we needed some parts...you guys need some parts...all is good.....youknow it does have a complete drive drain and it runs....thanks again guys

Just thought about it, I need all three mirrors. And how willing are you to ship drive train. I might be interested in engine trans and transfer.

i would ship....what shape is your pig in?...you might be better off buying the whole dern thing....i know kansas is a looong way from atlanta....but if you want engine,tranny transfer we could probably work something out..i worry about my ability as a mechanic to remove these items...but hey i will try anything once....let me know

I have 71 fj40 that had it's drivetrain donated to my pig. So I am thinking of the possibility of dropping it in there. Let me think about it. I need a drivers door panel too for the pig. ( and maybe all the doors too ) I just have some finances to figure out.

How is the intake/exhaust manifold? Still in one piece and not too rusty -- Could use it. Just picked up a 74 carb for my 75 but need to convert to cable or find the rod linkages for the accelerator pedal. Does it have any of those? If cable, I need the cable, cable bracket that mounts to the carb to hold cable (see picture 72 FJ40), and bracket and spring that mounts to the carb, and the cable assembly off main throttle barrel of carb (if you don't want to disconnect carb send whole carb). See pictures of what I got (rod linkage) versus what I need (cable or rod linkage).

I'll be posting a new thread to show progress on my PIG. Will get back to you with a bigger list of parts and pieces to see if anybody has stuff I need -- I need these to get it running on the street. Appreciated.

Other items:

1.) Right and left rear-side markers and seals
2.) Front signal light posts -- I need the post assembly, not the lens
3.) Rear tail light seals

I had a list to Pighead in July/August time frame -- will see if I can dig it up.
