This bracket was on a '73 FJ40 that I purchased. Appears to be a seat belt bracket for rear seats? Is that it or something else? Seat belt does not seem to fit through gap in bracket. Thanks!

The bracket is for an aftermarket seat belt. The belt would loop through the bracket and have another piece that would lock it in or be sewn to keep it on.
