I'm looking into purchasing a '73 FJ40, and was wondering if i need to find a certain year of hardtop/doors. When do the brackets/sizes change. Also, where is a good place to look? Thanks!

doors should be the thin two piece style and top should be liftgate style. other styles will fit with modifications. corrugated top needs a way to latch to the w/s and the door won't quite reach the half doors (at least they don't on mine...don't know if there is supposed to be w/s there or something) and amby style top will redrilling for door hinges in back and won't seal perfectly. later one piece doors use a different striker set up. i have a 73 top in denver that i'm selling if you need one.
