I have a 71 I am thinking about selling with original 1F engine, Weber carb, 3 speed on floor with vacuum transfer. Mallory central distributor, Jacobs coil and wires.

The good:
Frame is spotless
Dash is not hacked up and all original
Smog exempt
Title in hand and current registration
Front axle off a 79 so it has front disk brakes and stops on a dime
Brand new
Just installed 4 brand new (less than 150 miles) Falken wildpeak tires
Brand new clutch master and slave units from CCoT
Pass side spare tire carrier included
Seats are original vinyl on the bench and new skins on the drivers
Original steering wheel that isn't (!!!) all cracked up
I went through the wiper motor and cleaned out the old grease and replaced
Hi-lift jack installed on front bumper
Bottom of doors are rust-free

The not so good:
No hardtop. Bikini top only.
The rear sill and passenger dogleg have minor rust spots. I have started the bodywork on the rear sill but more needs to be done. Have three rattle cans of color-matched paint to go with it.
Dash is cracked
Floor pan has a few quarter sized holes on driver side
Door rubber needs to be replaced

Asking 13k

I had a really good conversation with the owner of this one and from the pics shared and information discussed, it appears to be a really solid rig. If the timing was just a little bit better for me, I'd be figuring out how to get this from San Diego to Colorado right now.

It is the original motor, that runs great - the seats are in amazing condition and it's an honestly presented vehicle. I hope another MUD member can get this one.

Good luck to the seller!

Brings back memories that was my 1st Landcruiser , I’ve owned 15 after that 71. Drove it off the lot in Santa Monica ( Sheridan Toyota) here’s a picture from 1980’s

Owens River. Sold it to my brother in law who just sold it earlier this year. Looks like some expensive tires and hi-lift jack. 🐬🐬🐬
