That last picture was taken in Caracas, Venezuela (I recognize the sign on the building behind it, it's a mall that was about 10 minutes from my childhood home), so I assume the rest were, too. I also recognize the rear bumper, it was a design known as "military" because a local fabricator used to build bumpers like that for the Venezuelan Army 75 series...it was really popular during the 90's.
Then it hit me..Carlos Espinal is a legendary wheeler in Caracas, years and years of experience on expeditions all over Venezuela.
Very cool shortening of an FJ70, looks like they used a 75 or 79 series cab.
