Hey there fellow 70 series owners. I have a leaky fuel tank, and 8 coats (yes, 8) of all types of supposed-to-work-fuel-stopping-goo later and it still weeps out.

I've got a fibreglass patch, more fibreglass, tubes of JB weld etc. So much so, that I don't even know where the original hole was, it just weeps out.

Does anyone know how to fix this once and for all, or better yet, does someone have a spare tank?

Help needed,
Craig.

I would go for new tank. I dont have one but I think a 73/74 series will work.I have a BJ71 tank in my FJ73
Also the sub tank from a 75 series is also supposed to be the same.
