Hello, I have a hzj76 with a factory pto winch and I am looking for a service manuel or parts info for repairing the PTO and winch. As well what is the factory rating for the winch and what is the real rating for the winch. I read somewhere that the factory rating is 3500# or something stupid low like that but I know for a fact that it will pull more than that.

Hi . At the top of the forum there is the online manuals sticky. In there is a blow up diagram of the PTO and winch.Look for the Body and Chassis manual 84-90.
There is also the online parts link which has all the parts numbers and diagrams with approximate cost of each part
I forget the rating but it has a shear pin which is the weak point

Thanks so much for the info, still learning my way around this site, and it does not help that on a good day we are only getting maybe 100kbm download speed, thats a good or should I say the middle of the night.
I know this is not recomended but I had to make my own shear pin because the Toyota dealer here in Niger is useless as tits on a bull, they don't know the diffrence between a shear pin and a hair pin. Pto winch whats that? we've never sold a truck with that before, no we can't order that part. Useless !#@#$#%'s
Anyway I made the pin with a weak point but I don't know at what pull weight it will break.

Hey thanks for zipping that file for me that was a big help. Who says people from Calgary and people from Edmonton can't get along. Crazy 2MB and still half an hour to down load welcome to third world internet.
