BTW, the hill was called Wayne's hill after i climbed in with open diffs. Mike told me this AFTER the fact. i can tell you where he was hopping, i was nervous. all i could see over the hood was blue sky and my foot was beginning to quiver a bit, the hill is much steeper than it looks on the vid. the truck spun out so i hit the brakes with the front tire sitting in the air. with Mikes guidence i backed up slightly and took a different line and over the top.
thanks Mike for posting up on Youtube the memory of a wicked hill and a sweet ride.

cool vids wayne! thanks for sharing. these guys had some nice filming gear i bet. wondering, the last river crossing, they had a tarp in the front, keep the water out, sorta? or create a better wake?? they didn't have it on with the other crossing, and it's first i've seen it in a vid.

if you are playing in mud or in deep water where you are not sure of what might be lurking underneath then a tarp or heavy skidder mesh is recommended to keep the rad clean. it is easier to remove the netting and rinse clean than pull the rad for a proper cleaning.

too many engines have been lost due to overheating after a good mud run.

<and yes, a gasser can be waterproofed to compete with a diesel>

and parts are EXPENSIVE...

tell me this, why can we buy some factory parts here in Canada cheaper than we can buy direct from Japan??
<and i am talking base cost>
, imagine wheeling in japan, where ALL parts are local! lol!

Those are the vehicles they Beat On before sending them over here LOL.
Note I like the Ambulance doors on the 80 series

the coil sprung 7*s are wicked off road... now if they could stick a decent engine in them they would be G RRR EAT...
