looking for a frame with title and both VIN plates for a project. Needs to be in southern California near 92583. it would help if it rolls but i guess i could drag it onto a trailer.

Is there something that changed from 69 to 70 or 71 with the frame? I have a 71 frame with vin tag in Sacramento CA. Obviously not close but not too far that something can't be worked out...

so my pickiness (is that a word) may surprise you but i want a legitimate black and yellow California plate and they cant be run on 70 and newer. The DMV has a program that will allow you to purchase vintage license plates and use them on appropriate vehicles as long as the numbers arent being used already. Kind of an extreme version of personalized plates. and yes i know im making my life unnecessarily difficult but if im going to the trouble of building a 40, im going to get exactly what i want.

Not "pickiness"......I plan to do the same, but I much rather have Blue and Yellow Cali plates since everyone and their mother have personalized Black and Yellow plates....
