69 front axel seal

Hello all; needing advise on parts needed to fix a leak on the from wheel. Every time I go for a short drive grease comes out of the front left wheel. I believe it is comeing from behind the hub. I look up parts on SOR but teh only think I could think was a bearing kit. Would someone please let me know if I can just buy the seals and if so what are the seals called. Acceptable price would be helpful too.

Odds on...the inner axle seal is leaking, and gear oil is traveling down the axle shaft...to the wheel bearings, creating the mess. Simply replacing the wheelbearing seal WILL NOT solve this problem.


A frontendectomy is in your future!

Perfect excuse to update to disc brakes!

I would check the wheel bearings real carefully. Also, determine if the stuff coming out is grease or differential lube (90 weight). Check the level of the lube in the front differential. If it has that sulfur smell, then it's probably diff lube and you need to replace seal number 59 in the picture. In that case, you probably ought to go ahead and rebuild the entire axle.
