Been painting a lot of small parts. I installed the steering box.

I also took apart the heater and cleaned the insides. I also cleaned the heater core. I did not repaint because it looks pretty good.

For the rear parking brake cables, you MAY be able to work with a company called Inline Tube. They will do customer brake lines and parking brake parts for cars and trucks. You will need to send your current ones to them and they will ship all back to you.

I have had great service with them for a 70 GMC K2500 we have been doing, but I know they also do parts for obscure stuff.

That's a great truck. I use to own one back in the 70's. That truck is built really well. Mine had 2 gas tanks, 4 speed on the column. 1st Gear was really low, the 3RC engine was a great engine!.
