I took the engine out of the truck today hoping the back would go up and nothing changed. Would I be better off just taking the rear springs off and getting them re-arched instead of buying new rear spring. The front springs seems to be fine just the back had a lot of weight I think sitting in it the past 30 years and it was used as a logging truck before the previous owner I got it from.
 
Some new pictures of it with the engine out of the back. The back didn’t go up at all. I have a friend sending me a good pair of rear springs to get the back up in the air

Looks cool. I remember seeing pics of this somewhere years ago. As for the back being low. It looks a bit low but the LVs always look lower bc the rear wheel arch is so low compared to the front fenders. Someone put some time into modifying that rig at some point. Will definitely be a unique one off.
