I bought this back in December and finally got it here yesterday. I’m very excited about this one. Nice to finally see it in person and to get it off the weird sellers property. Here are a few pictures

Super sharp rig. Favorite color and excellent patina.

Is that original paint? Driver side bed and back panel to the hardtop appear a bit different shade. Is that just weathering down to reveal a little base primer?

Regardless. Awesome 45!
Makes me want a stock survivor even more.

Was parked in the same spot for 30 years so the Arizona sun cooked the paint off on the driver side and left a cool Patina to it. Passenger side most of the spring green is still their.

This is my favorite of the 45s I have seen that you have robbed from our western stock cool patina.:p

Going to see if I can get this truck to run for the first time in 30 years or so this week

Good luck!

Good luck, we believe in you ;)
The previous owner say his grandfather put the clutch in backwards and never did anything to the truck after that. I’m not sure what the real reason is or if he even really knows. Interested to see what he did and why they never got it back on the road. They didn’t care about the truck so I’m hoping it’s something simple and they were just never motivated to finish it.

Yeah sometimes with these things its easier than you might expect to get it on the road, nobody ever really put much effort into it. Other times they've grossly undersold what's wrong with it. Good news is most of the parts for the drivetrain should be easy to source if you need to. Love that truck, will be exciting to get it running again!

Depends on what manual they were using. One of them, maybe Chilton or another has the clutch disk backwards in the description. Fingers crossed its a simple fix.

Yea I’m going to get under the truck tomorrow and try to see what’s going on. I just talked to the seller and he said that the truck ran great and whoever put the clutch in put in backwards and they never did anything since then. Is it possible to put the clutch in backwards?
