62 owner looking for advice on an 80. Good deal? (1 Viewer)

Does anyone know this truck? Car history says it's been a TX truck it's whole life. I own a couple of 62's but giving some serious thought to sending in an offer. Let me know if you think it's a good deal. I've been pricing them and this seems a little low for 100k mile truck....makes me question a little. Thx

Don't know the truck nor the dealer, but that's a shiny 80 with the rare chrome door handles and mirrors -- even matches the chrome logos.

If everything checks out, that's a great price for this low miles truck. No lockers per K292 code and no magic dial in the front.

Check the carfax to see if it was registered in New Orleans during Katrina.

Price is low for a dealer. Could turn out to be a good deal.

That guy has had a few 80s on ebay. I'd love to have a blue or black 80 with a tan interior. I've yet to see one though.

Nice truck but no lockers for sure. With eight days left, my guess is it will go for 8k.

Yeah, I noticed it didn't have lockers. But, at that price I'm thinking nice daily driver, sell my Dodge, and make it an all cruiser family. I like the sound of that.

knorrena - Good catch. That's a vacuum hose diagram in my 62. Is it the same in an 80?
